Salty is back in book 13 - The Reckoning

 Appearing briefly in the next Jo Modeen adventure, Salty does his bit by picking up Ben and Bugs in a "26' Metal Shark".  The guys need a quick getaway after completing their mission and the old sea dog Salty is up for the task. You can read more about the Metal Shark Relentless Series below.

The Metal Shark 26 Relentless is a welded aluminum high performance center console patrol craft with a modern, crew-friendly arrangement designed with law enforcement and security missions in mind. Relentless series models are characterized by their performance hulls and by the urethane-sheathed closed-cell foam collar that provides impact protection during docking, boarding, or alongside maneuvers. The 26' Relentless is easily trailerable but handles capably in rough seas.

The vessel’s efficient hull delivers outstanding speed, precision handling, and turns on a dime, with durable welded-aluminum construction that no fiberglass boat could match. NATSEC forked out for the deluxe package and equipped their unit with twin outboards for up to 600 total horsepower. The helm and overhead electronics pod have been ergonomically optimized, with vessel controls, switches, and electronics placed for easy, intuitive operation. A large weather-tight in-dash storage compartment with 12-volt USB power supply allows for the storage and operation of laptops and printers. For LE use, the entire helm area features glare-resistant matte finish blackout coating to enhance helm visibility in low-light conditions.
